2010:5eps	Past Life	A reincarnated ancient roman solves crime in 2050	Whoa! There are other reincarnated people
2013	Almost Human	Cyberpunk, tough-guy detective has android partner	Cases involve hi-tech problems. We have human cyborgs, but most cops like the boxy dumb ones. Best excuse for sexy police sergeant -- she's a Chrome (upper-class: parents paid for engineered chromosomes)
2014-2015	Forever	An immortal Medical Examiner solves crime, chased by other immortal	A medical examiner is the same as a cop -- TV has been doing it since Quincy in the 70's
2015	Second Chance	A dirty cop is brought back to life in young body to solve special crimes	The revival tech is glitchy, and maybe he had a reason for being dirty?
2016-2018	Lucifer	Satan is a police consultant, while wrestling with personal problems	Based on the Sandman comic character. Winks at us -- we know the crimes are an excuse to develope the plot and characters
